Thank you to all Kawartha Land Trust (KLT) volunteers who filled out our recent Volunteer Satisfaction Survey.

We are pleased to share that 98% of those who responded indicated that they would recommend volunteering at KLT to a friend.

We truly appreciate the feedback and suggestions for improvement from our volunteers. A total of 63 volunteers responded  to our survey and we have gained valuable insights, ranging from what motivates volunteers to give their time to KLT to what types of recognition volunteers find most meaningful.

Volunteers also let us know areas where we can be doing better. Training is one of the areas that was identified as in need of improvement and we are committed to offering more training opportunities throughout the year.

Stay tuned for upcoming KLT Volunteer Orientation Training dates coming your way for the end of March and early April. This will be an opportunity to find out more about KLT’s mission and values, an overview of the work we do together, and important policies and procedures.

The orientation sessions will also be a chance to connect with KLT staff and find out more about different volunteer roles and opportunities.

Your comments and suggestions have been noted and will inform our plans and priorities for volunteer engagement going forward.

If you have any questions or feedback regarding being a volunteer with KLT, we would like to hear from you. You can contact me, Chris Ferguson, KLT Volunteer Program Specialist, at [email protected] or 705-743-5599 ext. 9.

Thank you for protecting the land you love!
