The Government of Ontario recently tabled Bill 23, the More Homes Built Faster Act, 2022, an omnibus bill proposing sweeping changes to the province’s natural heritage and land use planning legislation and policy.
The government is also proposing several significant policy changes affecting wetland evaluation and the Provincial Policy Statement. A discussion paper on offsetting has also been released for consultation.
