KLT’s Annual Thanks.Giving event was held at Forgotten Lane Farm in beautiful Bethany Hills in the City of Kawartha Lakes, bringing together over 70 volunteers to celebrate a year of protecting and caring for the land we love.

Kawartha Land Trust (KLT) is a big community of volunteers, donors, staff, and supporters working to conserve the natural and working lands of the Kawarthas. It takes a community of passionate and dedicated people to protect the land we love. Today we would like to introduce you to another one of our incredible volunteers — Barb Elliot.

KLT held it’s Annual General Meeting in Burleigh Falls in late June. At the meeting, we welcomed new members to the organization’s governance team and thanked outgoing directors for their dedication.

Barb Rimmer has volunteered with Kawartha Land Trust (KLT) since it was Kawartha Heritage Conservancy (KHC). She’s a regular sight at KLT volunteer and Passport to Nature events, and has contributed to protecting the land she loves in countless ways. Learn more about Barb’s contributions to KLT.
