Ron Awde, former Chair of KLT’s Board of Directors from 2013-2014, and Robert Ertel own and steward Sheidow Farm, a 200-acre property in Bethany Hills in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The property is recognized in the official plan for the City of Kawartha Lakes as having “significant wildlife and woodland habitat.”

The property lies on the north edge of the Oak Ridges Moraine and features a small spring and creek, wetlands, forest and vital agricultural land.
