The Conservation Easement Agreement (CEA) for the Elliott property was created by owner Heather Elliot in memory of her late husband, Don.

Under the agreement, the diverse and Provincially Significant Wetlands (PSW) on this Stony Lake property can continue to provide nursery habitats for fish, turtles, and other wildlife.

The property’s “disappearing stream” is another important feature of the area that is now under protection.
