Renew and reinvigorate your relationship to nature through poetry. Join poets Samantha Banton and David Seymour for an afternoon of poetry workshopping that will draw inspiration from the Hammer Family Nature Preserve, enabling participants to channel, challenge, and convey their emotional reflections and intellectual observations through an encounter with the beautiful natural surroundings. The afternoon will begin with a short stroll, followed by a series of writing prompts and poetry exercises designed to activate the imagination, and re-establish a connection to the natural environment through composition.
