Happy National Wildlife Week! (April 9-15, 2017)

Spring is here and the habitats that you help KLT protect are being put to good use by wildlife!
- In the fields of our Dance Nature Sanctuary, woodcocks are doing their elaborate aerial dance at dusk.
- Salamanders are rubbing snouts as they find mates in the still icy ponds of our Stony Lake trails.
- On Big (Boyd/Chiminis) Island baby porcupines, born with soft quills that harden within hours, are sleeping cozily in standing dead trees.
Thank you for helping Protect the Land You Love and providing safe havens for our wildlife friends.
