Connection to Action Workshop at Dance
September 26th | Connection to Action Workshop | Nature Connection
Learn – Connect – Love – Protect
Interested in outdoor learning and having fun? This pilot workshop will introduce you to practices for deepening our connection with nature. We will engage in mindfulness-based methods to sharpen our observational skills, strengthen our sense of love and caring for other beings and their habitats, experience the ordinary magic of sense perceptions, and provide emotional and psychological support for sustained environmental action. Your feedback will be used to help design further workshops.
Join KLT with workshop leader David Marshall on September 26th. Together, we will practice different modes of attention, learn the habitat types, species, and landscape-level conservation values of Dance Nature Sanctuary, detect and tell the story of human traces on the land, enjoy the magic of aimless wandering and the power of stillness, and end with sharing our experiences.
Please RSVP to Patricia Wilson via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is very limited for this event.
Where: Dance Nature Sanctuary
